SIAL Shanghai 2025: Three Days at Booth N1F035 in Shanghai

From 19 to 21 May 2025, TBESFOOD exhibited at SIAL Shanghai, at Booth N1F035 in the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC). SIAL calls the show one of the three biggest food fairs in the world, and from the first morning the halls lived up to the billing.

Seafood and fruit on one stand

This time we shared the booth with our fruit line, TBESAGRI, so a buyer could talk shrimp and mango at the same table. The #TBESFOOD wall showed frozen vannamei shrimp, cooked shrimp, pangasius fillets and barramundi fillets. The #TBESAGRI side carried fresh, frozen and dried tropical fruit. On the shelf by the entrance sat rice macaroni and tins of Tran Thanh Arabica coffee, a nod to the coffee business where TBES Group began in 1995.

What we showed in Shanghai

• Vannamei shrimp: frozen and cooked

• Tropical fruit from TBESAGRI: fresh, frozen IQF and dried
• Rice macaroni and Tran Thanh Arabica coffee

The freezer did most of the talking

Our display freezer was the busiest spot on the stand. Visitors tasted frozen mango straight from the tray, then leaned over the glass to look at the dragon fruit and the rest of the IQF range. At the tables, our sales team took buyers through the catalogue page by page.

Behind the tables, the booth wall carried the registrations buyers ask about first: our FDA number, EU code DL 417 and our China registration number. If you plan to bring Vietnamese seafood into China, our guide to GACC registration under Decree 280 explains how the system works.

Shanghai after hours

One evening after the halls closed, the team stopped for a photo in front of the Oriental Pearl Tower. Nobody had to be asked twice to wave at the camera.
