China Fisheries & Seafood Expo 2025: Three Days in Qingdao with the Vietnam Pavilion

From 29 to 31 October 2025, TBESFOOD exhibited at the China Fisheries & Seafood Expo (CFSE) at the Hongdao International Convention and Exhibition Center in Qingdao. Sea Fare Expositions has run the show since the first edition in Qingdao in 1996, and it is now one of the biggest seafood trade events in Asia. The Canadian Trade Commissioner Service put the 2025 edition at about 1,600 exhibitors from 53 countries and more than 35,000 visitors.

Our stand in the Vietnam Seafood pavilion

We had our own stand in Hall B7, inside the Vietnam Seafood pavilion that VASEP put together under the banner "Vietnam Seafood, Sustainable Destination". The backlit TBESFOOD wall made the stand easy to find from the aisle. Norway, Russia and Brazil had national pavilions in the same hall, so buyers could compare several origins in one walk.

What was in the freezer

Vannamei shrimp, raw and cooked, including shrimp packed in retail trays

Pangasius and barramundi fillets, frozen

Baby octopus and cuttlefish, frozen and vacuum packed

Tropical fruit from TBESAGRI, our fruit line, with brochures for buyers who source both seafood and fruit

A world map on the side wall showed the markets our products already ship to, across five continents.

Three days of buyer meetings

Buyers came from inside China and from overseas. Most conversations started at the freezer, moved to the catalogue and finished at the small table at the back of the stand, where the team wrote down specifications, packing, volumes and destination ports for each enquiry.

China registration and certifications

Buyers who import into China need to see registration early. Our China registration number, CNNM18PP2111220698, sat at the top of the stand next to FDA 16881763574 and EU code DL 417, and the backdrop carried the ASC, MSC, Halal, HACCP, BRCGS, Sedex and FDA marks.
