Frozen Seafood from Vietnam for Latin America
Pangasius is the main line for Latin America. Buyers in Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Chile and Peru want an affordable, mild white fish for retail, restaurants and the Lent season, and light pink or white well-trimmed fillets fit that demand.

What we supply to Latin America
Import rules we work to
Plant approval
Some markets, Brazil among them, accept seafood only from foreign plants approved by their own authority. We check the approval status for your country before quoting.
Health certificate and labels
Each shipment needs an official health certificate from Vietnam. Retail labels are printed in Spanish or Portuguese to your text.
Tariffs
Mexico, Chile and Peru are members of CPTPP with Vietnam, which cuts duties on Vietnamese seafood. A certificate of origin is needed to claim the rate.
Shipping: 40 ft reefer containers to Manzanillo, Cartagena, Buenaventura, Santos, San Antonio, Callao and other ports, on FOB, CFR or CIF terms. Certificates and plant registration numbers are on our Quality page.
Frequently asked questions
Which pangasius colour sells in Latin America?
Both white and light pink fillets sell well. Light pink costs less and suits price-led retail; white is chosen for premium packs.
Do you plan shipments around Lent?
Yes. Fish demand peaks in Lent, so we recommend confirming orders early enough for the containers to arrive in time.
